Takween Technologies ("Takween", "we", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every individual who interacts with our websites, services, and business operations. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the rights available to you. It has been prepared in alignment with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("PDPL") issued under Royal Decree No. (M/19) of 09/02/1443H, its Implementing Regulations, and any guidance issued by the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority ("SDAIA") and the National Data Management Office ("NDMO").
Takween Technologies is a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with its registered office at Al Diriyah Al Jadidah 13734, Al Diriyah, Riyadh. We collect personal data that you provide directly to us (for example, when you enquire about our services, apply for a role, or enter into a contract with us), as well as technical data collected automatically when you browse our website. Categories of personal data we may process include:
We process personal data only for legitimate, clearly defined purposes, including responding to enquiries, delivering services under an engagement, managing recruitment, complying with Saudi regulatory obligations, improving the performance and security of our website, and exercising or defending legal rights. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We process personal data where the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, where you have given consent, where processing is required to comply with a statutory obligation in the Kingdom, or where we have a legitimate interest that does not override your rights and freedoms.
We do not sell personal data. Personal data may be shared with trusted service providers acting on our instructions (for example, hosting, email, and analytics), with professional advisers, and with competent Saudi authorities where lawfully required. All processors are bound by written agreements that require them to maintain equivalent levels of confidentiality and security.
Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we follow the transfer mechanisms permitted by the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations, including the assessment of adequacy, the use of appropriate safeguards, and, where required, notification to or approval by the competent authority.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with regulatory obligations in the Kingdom, and to resolve disputes. When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Subject to the conditions of the PDPL, you have the right to be informed about how your personal data is processed, to access your personal data, to request its correction or completion, to request its deletion where lawful, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with the competent Saudi authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact otman@takweentechnologies.com.
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle, aligned with the expectations of the National Cybersecurity Authority ("NCA") for organisations operating in the Kingdom.
